In The Details - 2/5/23

As spring slowly but surely makes her way to us here in the Midwest, I am finding myself having great fun mixing and matching textures and combinations now that the weather is more forgiving.

For this outfit from a few weekends ago, I layered up a few new stars in my wardrobe that I know I will be reaching for for years to come.

This is the Palma silk top from Sézane. It has the most beautiful filigree scallop detailing around the neckline (you probably know by now I’m a sucker for scalloped edges), and is cut at a flattering length. You can’t see it in these photos, but the straps of the top are quite thin. I’ve learned not to shy away from pieces with thin straps, the key is just finding a good strapless bra you can rely on. I’ll link my favorite strapless option here.

The real star of this outfit was the pearl studded headband. Nothing feels more “summer’ to me than pearls (though, let’s be honest, pearls are as about as versatile as can be). As a self proclaimed aficionado of headbands, this statement piece was right up my alley.

If you’d like to stay caught up on wardrobe and home pieces as I buy them, feel free to follow me over on my LTK as well. <3
